Creative Learning Hub

The project brief is to design a creative learning hub in the centre of Durban. 

A six storey atrium building was designed as a response to the brief. The auditorium and classrooms are located on the periphery of the building where the public can view into the rooms and beyond into the central atrium space.

Circulation spaces are located around the internal periphery of the building maintaining the concept of transparency always. The lines between learning, circulation and recreation are blurred through the cross-pollenation of spaces throughout the building.
